Vineyard Tour And A Chance To Fly The Plane
Our scenic flight will take us over the Cromwell and Bannockburn wine regions with interesting information on the geology of the area, over vineyards including Archangel, Pisa Range, Aurum, Wooing Tree, Scott Base and Quartz reef.
We return to Wanaka over the Pisa range with spectacular views of lakes Wanaka and Hawea and the peaks of Mount Cook and the Southern Alps to the north. We descend down over the Rippon Vineyard and Wanaka township itself.
With U-Fly’s dual controls you can even have a go at flying the plane if you like. It’s really great fun, and much easier than you would imagine and of course, our experienced pilot is right by your side.
