Weather Conditions

U-Fly Adventure Rides operates in Southwest New Zealand, an area that can receive extreme and rapidly changeable weather patterns.

Most scheduled departures take place unless weather conditions are extreme.

U-Fly Adventure Rides operates with in tight safety guide lines and trips will be cancelled due to hazardous road or weather conditions.

Tour departures may be amended at any time to ensure the safety and comfort of clients, staff and equipment.

Reservations

To Book we need a credit card number and expiring date, please note we will not charge your credit card until the day of travel.

Client credit card details are only required to secure the booking and will not be processed until the day and time of reserved departure.

Cancellations or amendments are required to be notified at least 24 hours prior to reserved departure date and time.

U-Fly Adventure Rides reserves the right to charge clients who fail to "show up" or contact us (Free Phone 0800 021 262 anytime)

U-Fly Adventure Rides is a responsible company and will take into account that contact with us can be difficult some times due to extreme weather conditions.

Trade reservations

Cancellations or amendments must be advised 24 hours prior to the departure time

When the booked departure is cancelled by U-Fly Adventure Rides, any refund must be claimed from the agent, or company issuing the voucher.

Late cancellations or client "no-shows" will be invoiced at the agreed rate.

Check in times

Clients are requested to phone us the day or night before departure to reconfirm their reservations (Free Phone 0800 538 723 anytime)

Cell Phones

Clients are advised that cell phones don't always work in this region due to poor coverage.

Please note

Nausea or motion sickness associated with circling and the sensations of flight can be a problem for some people. If you are unsure of your likely reactions to the sensations of flight, We suggest you prepare yourself by:

• Taking travel sickness tablets or using other anti-nausea devices
• Looking in the direction of the turn while the plane is turning and avoid sudden head movements
• Following the directions of your instructor

Hours of operation are during the hours of daylight. Bookings are essential if you want to fly at a certain time of day.

Cancellation Policy:

If for any reason your travel plans change, and you are not going to be able to fly with us on the day booked, please be sure to contact us.

The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:

• For flights cancelled more than 24 hours prior to the departure time, there will be no charge.
• For flights cancelled within 24 hours prior to departure time, or in the case of a 'no show', you will be charged the full cost of the flight.
• U-Fly Ltd reserves the right to apply discretion in special circumstances.
• Cancelled flights on our behalf (due to weather etc.) will incur no charge.

Limitations

• Customers must be in a reasonable physical condition to fly, although a physical disability may not necessarily be a barrier to the U-Fly Adventure Ride. A medical statement will be completed before your Flight
• Maximum pilot weight for passengers is 135kg / 297lbs
• No age limitation, but U-Fly Adventure Ride customers under 18 years of age will require written permission to fly from a parent or guardian

Transport

• We do provide complimentary local transport but we encourage customers to use their own transport, as you have the flexibility to leave whenever you wish
• Wanaka Airport is on State Highway 6. Wanaka Airport is only 10 minutes drive from Wanaka and very easy to find
